OUR DIRECTION

Have you been questioning that what are the dominant components that need to be acquired in today's working world and even the society? Innovation, entrepreneurship and synergism will be perfectly address to the latter.

Innovation, entrepreneurship and synergism (I.E.S) has been the dominant elements for the current trend in our Malaysian society and economics as well.

Most of the time, these components are closely integrated.

An entrepreneur sustains its business in the market with vital roles played by innovation. An entrepreneur sustains and expands its business by alliancing with other business in the industry. The most significant example will be Microsoft and Toyota.

In this globalised era, innovation plays a crucial factor in the sustainability of a business. One of the keys to any successful business is being able to come up with new ideas to keep operations, products and services fresh as well as competitive in the market. The process of bringing those ideas to reality is called innovation.

What can be done to make changes in the process of innovation from our position as students? Can a change be done without necessarily being an inventor? What is the role of education in innovation?

Many of history's top business leaders earned their success through entrepreneurship, namely Henry Ford, Walt Disney, Mary Kay Ash, Bill Gates, Tony Fernandes are among today's most successful entrepreneurs. Their success do not come by easily just like that instead most of them had a humble beginning, facing turmoils along the way and yet persevere until what they are today.

So can anybody simply become an entrepreneur?  What are the common characteristics of a successful entrepreneur?  People often have the ideas, dreams or skill of invention, but do they have what it takes to turn their ideas and dreams into reality?

We have all heard of those old adage encouraging teamwork, that working together will produce greater effect than individual endeavours.

An event can not run by oneself, nor can a business stand alone or sustain long solely, an organization will definitely fall apart when the management does not cooperate with each other.

In a nutshell, these show the significance of synergism towards achieving a goal in an organization or company.
